About this training

Welcome to this online course, designed to mirror the Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) training closely. This course will introduce you to the essentials of cloud-scale data services within Azure, setting a solid foundation for the DP-900 exam.

Traditionally, the Microsoft DP-900 training is offered as a 1 or 2-day classroom course, complete with optional lab assignments. I've delivered this training dozens of times to many organizations, large and small, across the Netherlands and abroad.

In response to the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic, I began to create video lectures covering the curriculum of the Microsoft DP-900 training. This effort has evolved into a full-fledged online course that stands as a comprehensive alternative to the in-person classroom training experience.

This course covers all the topics you would encounter in the classroom, ensuring you gain the same skillset. The advantage here is the pacing; while classroom sessions, especially those condensed into a single day, can feel rushed, this online format allows for a more detailed exploration of each topic. You'll have the opportunity to absorb the material at your own pace, ensuring a thorough understanding.

The lab assignments are designed to replicate the classroom experience as closely as possible, allowing you to deploy services in Azure and develop hands-on skills directly applicable to real-world scenarios.

In addition to the course material and lab assignments, I also have a set of 40 exam practice questions for you, specifically designed to prepare you for the DP-900 exam. These questions have been carefully curated to mimic the format and challenge of the actual exam, ensuring you have the opportunity to test your knowledge and identify areas for further study. These questions are aimed at boosting your confidence and improving your chances of success, allowing you to approach the exam with a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter.

I'm confident you'll find value in this training. But if you have any questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Cheers,

Mark
